Switched from BT to another broadband/landline/tv provider on 6 September. Received invoice from BT for services 4 Sep - 3 Oct - which has now been taken from my account by direct debit. These are services I no longer receive, and stopped receiving on 6 September. Will BT automatically refund me for the September bill (cost of service 1-6 Sept), and when can I expect to receive the refund?
The bill was produced and charged before you had actually left (as you could have cancelled the switch) you will be issued a final bill which will include a refund for any overpayment - quite normal
