Not a question, just a comment. My BT Fibre2 FTTC contract ends Jan 25.
My first reminder email from BT (about 3 weeks ago) included an option to renew the existing contract. Another reminder email received I this week no longer offers the option to renew the existing contract. All the options offered in the latest email are Full Fibre only.
it may be that FTTC is not available in your area on renewal and you need to renew on full fibre FTTP - there is no difference in cost between FTTC and FTTP packages
