Customer service/Broadband renewal

Have been trying for days to renew my broadband contract but BT says I have to speak to customer services because they can’t access my account for some reason. Unfortunately it’s impossible to get through to customer services and have been on hold for an hour on 4 occasions now. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to get in touch with them? Thanks
