We recently switched from BT gfast to EE 900
The connection is faster when it's working ok but the modem panel is rubbish, you need to use an awful app for WiFi controls and gaming is a lot worse - I imagine because they try and sell you a GAME MODE extra on top of your contract.
That's right, pay extra for gaming.
Every reidential BT customer will eventually be transferred to EE. If you are having problems with your service it would be best if you posted on the EE forum rather that spouting rubbish here.

Wi-Fi enhancer gives better controls for gaming, it allows you to priortise a device to have more bandwidth allocation, also known as quality of service (QoS), it also allows you to block servers with a high ping and other benefits.
That is not BT charging extra for gaming, it's an optional service for more control of your household bandwidth, your external speeds to the hub remain the same regardless.
