Direct debit

Good afternoon,

Do I need to set up direct debit again to pay bills after switching from BT to EE or will it be paid by direct debit automatically without my intervention?

Welcome to this customer to customer help forum for BT Residential phone and broadband customers.

BT and EE are separate companies within the BT Group, so I would expect that the DD information to be totally different.

I rather suspect the DD will automatically be transferred as necessary otherwise you would have received a request to set up a new DD.

BT and EE are more closely integrated than say BT and Plusnet.

I have asked if one of the mods could clarify.

Hi @Colonna 

Thanks for coming to the community. 

As @licquorice mentioned, it is likely that the DD will have been set up on EE when arranging a transfer.

Have you set up the EE app yet? If you have, you can login there and check the direct debit details.
