I have placed an order months ago and need to find out if the engineer is going to come out tommorow, but there phone lines are so busy they just direct me back to the website.
There is a chat options yes, during busy times it can disappear to avoid long waits.
BT staff are currently taking part in industrial action today, wait times are longer than normal but they are still open, try calling 0800 800 150, lines are open until 9pm
