Extra cost
I have an extra charge of £1.05 when I look at my calls online. It is for “other calls”. When I click on the link it shows no calls. So what is what here??
Thanks

Re: Extra cost
Hi @Merlinebor
Welcome to the community.
Has the bill containing the charge been created yet, or is it showing as a pending charge?
If it is on the bill, have you downloaded the full bill to have a look at the charges?

Re: Extra cost
Thanks for your reply.
Just rung BT - 30 minutes talking! - and they cannot say why the charge is there. Also it may disappear when the bill is generated. Very odd, very confusing.
Also yesterday, I rang a mobile number stored in my handset and it connected me to a landline number I use regularly. Did this three times! I have rung this stored number many times before and all connected correctly. This is vey odd!
Might have to go back writing letters!!!
Thanks

Re: Extra cost
That is very strange on all counts @Merlinebor.
Certainly keep an eye on the bill when it is created, and speak to the team if the charge is there and you don't recognise, have another word with the billing guys.
With the number that you are trying to dial, does the same thing happen if you manually enter the number?
Can you try to delete both numbers from the address both and enter again?

Re: Extra cost
Thanks for your reply.
I checked the number and it was correct. As I’ve already said it has been ok previously. All other numbers I rang using stored numbers were connected correctly.
I shall now wait for the bill and check if still there... fingers crossed!

Re: Extra cost
It may just be that there is some kind of crossover in the phone that is causing the numbers to dial the wrong one. If it does happen again, it is worth trying to re-enter the numbers to make sure it is correct.
