Offer of Complete WiFi upgrade at no extra cost - is it worth doing?

Hi, I’m new to this forum 👋 Just looking for people’s thoughts on BT’s offer of free upgrade to Complete WiFi at no extra monthly cost (I’m on Halo 3 at moment).

I’ve had a look at the small print, which does say that when you upgrade, BT will recommend one of their new call plans based on the type of calls you make at the moment.

Has anyone taken up this offer and have they found that it will actually save them money? Or cost them more??

It sounds tempting but I’m wondering if I would actually end up paying more for the calls, despite the complete WiFi being provided at my existing monthly price for Halo 3. I’m in contract until March 2024 just now. I know that prices will rise next year, so I’m trying to decide whether to make the move now which will lock me in for 2 years or wait until next year.

I still have an old BT smart hub which I use for Halo 3, but if I were to upgrade to Complete WiFi, does this mean that I’d get one of the new hubs? Plus the discs as well?

Any advice or comments on other’s experiences with this would be appreciated. Thanks 😁

Thanks so much for that, much appreciated. 👍🏻
I thought it seemed a bit too good to be true.
Having read the other posts, I can see that it’s rather misleading to other people as well.
Will just keep things as they are for the meantime.
