I have had issues with my Broadband since upgrading to Full Fibre 900 with Halo 3, as for some unknown reason, the hub download speed has been dropping below the stay fast guarantee on almost a daily basis, for the last two months. It's just happened again (enclosed). I have asked BT if I can revert to my former Fibre 2 contract, but it is unclear what is involved and whether the new cable will have to be replaced?

It will just be a software change capping your speed, there is no physical activity required.
