Re: Forced switchover from BT to EE account

@Copbear

Thank you for sharing that.  It seems to illustrate the point that some agents appear to be "economical with the truth" when advising customers ALL contracts now have to be EE ones.  Possibly under pressure from above to implement the overall policy of "BT" only being involved in commercial accounts, in future, as was explained to me by the last person I spoke to - who, nevertheless, insisted he was a "BT" employee, rather than "EE"!

Re: Forced switchover from BT to EE account

You can get BT upgrades etc you dont have to switch to EE. I've was offered a BT Full Fibre Package because I was told EE was more expensive than what I was paying.

Also if BT packages were not available anymore why can new customers sign upto BT on their website and select BT packages if you think about it.

Actually getting the upgrade however is another matter over a month later and they still cant upgrade me to FTTP because of a long standing system error that is meant to be fixed by 3rd Oct. I`m not holding out much hope.
