This promise is a complete scam, I too was persuaded to stay with BT on Halo 3+ and was even told by the salesperson that full fibre would be in our area within 12 months. Nearly 19 months later and it's still not available and now I here on this forum I wouldn't get it for free anyway. What a total rip off. I wonder what they will promise at my next renewal date I'm already getting the VIP treatment emails saying I can continue as I am, (don't make me laugh).
I went with BT because I thought they would be the best now I can't wait to move suppliers...
Hi.
I'm in the same position as you. BT Halo 3 with full fibre promise. Contract not fulfilled. Houses over the road from me have full fibre. I'm paying an embarrassing amount for the service. £84 per month with no tv packages just phone as no mobile reception where I am. Even EE unbreakable internet box doesn't work although hard wired in the loft. Contract has now ended. BT said I might get FTTP July 2025. The checker says up to December 2026. Do I renew? I feel conned.
The full fibre promise only states " as soon as it's available in your area". There is no mention of when.
When I ordered BTHalo 3 + I was advised that when FTTP was available I would get it for the same price as that …today I try to order and the broadband is £6 more and if I want a landline it’s another £12 ..how can they get away with this …as soon as my contract is up I intend to move elsewhere ..they are charlatans

Were you trying to order online?
Did you call BT 0330.1234.150 to ask why that is happening?
They were of no help at all just saying the same as the website

What is Full Fibre? Full Fibre is our next generation fibre broadband piped straight into your home. It’s our fastest and most reliable broadband yet. We are bringing speeds of up to 900Mb to our customers and our speeds are more consistent no matter how many devices are connected and what time of day. Current BT Halo 3+ customers will be able to upgrade for free to Full Fibre 100 when it becomes available in your area. You will not need to re-contract."
Read the last part of what you posted. If you were ordering online you are re contracting. Call BT and point out that you are upgrading from VDSL to Full Fibre.
can you enter your phone number and post results including the notes this will show if full fibre is available to you. currently you are complaining about not getting upgraded to full fibre and don't even know if available to you yet
