How do I cancel my account?

I am trying to cancel my account with BT but I cannot find a link or advice or how to do so.

Please could someone signpost me?

Call BT 0330.1234.150.

Keep in mind if you are still in a fixed term contract you will be charged cancellation fees.

If you are moving to another provider you should use the One Touch Switch (OTS) which is explained in the following link.

I just need to close my account and am out of contract so hoping it will be straightforward, yet I cannot find the information (contact details) I need to do this!

You cannot cancel the contract online, it has to be by phone via the number @gg30340 posted.
