How soon can I renew without incurring penalties.

I keep getting reminders that my contract is up for renewal in March and all of the options include either an increase in price or a reduction in service (the cheapest is an extra £0.99 per month but I lose my Complete Wi-fi with that deal).

My intentions then are to renew all but the TV contract which I will not be renewing. My questions are:

1. Do I just let my TV contract lapse and if so will the service automatically end or
2. Do I need to actively cancel the TV contract and if so how soon can I do that without incurring charges.

You can take advantage of any renewal offers at any point as there aren't any cancellation charges for regrades. I check MyBT regularly to see what personalised offers there are and as a result, I've been paying the same price for an equal or better package for over 5 years.
