I recently started renting a house for uni and used a service called unihomes for my utilities. Originally we set up our internet package to start in September. Due to some circumstances I had to move up earlier. I've called my utilities provider to see if they could move the date forward and they said they were very busy and would get around to it eventually. I'm in the house with edge data and very little data. I just wanted to know if BT would be able to activate it remotely or would they need someone to come and activate it? I already have a router and a box that connects to it from open reach.
If they can activate it would I just need to call their technical support number?
