I’m hoping that someone from BT may see this and do something.
I’ve called numerous times and just keep being told there is nothing they can do without the account holders permission but surely bills coming to the wrong address is a problem all companies have to deal with??
When ever I have moved house I’ve had to send bills back to the the sender and they’ve always corrected their records. After 12 months of sending monthly bills back to BT I finally decided to call them and have called them every month for the last 6 months asking them to update their records.
A number of times they have told me they would correct it and I would receive no more letter, but they still arrived. Today I’m told they can’t amend the address without speaking to the account holder!!!! I no it seems silly but it’s slowly driving me insane, it’s been 18 months now!!
bt how can you not just sort this????
I will flag your problem to the mods to see if they can help.
Personally, I wouldn't get stressed about it and just throw them in the bin.
