Landline Pay as You Go - cancelling

Go to solution

I have a monthly charge for Pay as You Go landline calls.

I no longer have a landline. Can I cancel this charge , or is it part of my broadband package, so I need to wait until my contract expires ?

Thanks for your assistance.

John

your current contract is broadband with phone and PAYG costs about £3/5 per month.  you need to phone CS 03301234150 and request phone part to be remove.  in some cases this has been done and existing contract continued as broadband only but in others you need to start new contract for broadband only

I guess what you mean is you don’t have a landline phone connected rather than not having a landline …if you didn’t have a landline you wouldn’t be charged for something you don’t have .
As stated , call and ask for the phone service to be removed , it will save you between £2 and £5 if you are on PAYG , once it’s gone obviously you won’t have a landline phone number etc and removing it may require you to take a new minimum term broadband only deal .
