Why am I charged £3 per month when I don’t have a landline phone ?

You must have selected the broadband and phone package and not broadband only. There is a charge of about £3pm for PAYG for having a home phone able to make/receive calls

You will have a landline service , if you chose not to connect a phone to it , that’s your choice .
If you don’t need a phone service, standalone broadband is available ( saving the £3 ) but may mean you need to recontract for a new minimum term
