Hi @Kevin16352 I'm sorry to hear about your experience, It sounds like it's been very frustrating for you so far.

Could you tell us a bit more about why the broadband was cut off please?

Thanks for letting us know @Kevin16352

If you have a landline number, you can pop that into this status checker then it will display any issues affecting your line.

Re: Leaving BT broadband

I only have broadband and I had a text from open reach

Hi, it's Openreach. Your provider has reported a fault. An engineer will be allocated to investigate. Tests suggest the fault is outside of your premises. To discuss your fault or for any queries, please contact your service provider.

To learn more about us visit our website www.openreach.co.uk/support/

But when I check status page on bt it says I reported it as being fixed but it's not fixed I have no bt broadband at all

Oh I see, thanks for letting us know @Kevin16352

It's difficult to speculate on how the fault has been reported already to be honest without having access to your account.

I'd recommend giving one of our guides a call so that they can get access to your account and give you more information.

To speak to a guide, you'd just need to call 150 from a BT phone, or 0330 1234 150 from any other phone.

You can find a link to our Contact Us page here

I am extremely stressed they only installed the broadband on 4th February 2025 then billed me £84 for quarter service and then they come on the 25 February 2025 and disconnected my broadband bt can stop saying its a fault it's not a fault they have deliberately turned off my broadband I have now disconnected the router boxed it back up and requested a return package so I can send this back to BT I am done with all this stress the service isn't fit for purpose if it only works for 14 days

Hi there @Kevin16352

I am very sorry the broadband has been disconnected and you have received a bill leaving you feeling stressed.

We certainly don't want you feeling this way, have you been in touch with our broadband technical support guides and discussed the bill and equipment return?

Speak to you soon.

Leanne.
