Letter from Lowells - any contact at BT to discuss?

Hi all,

I'm working with someone that is making a substantial purchase and has had the offer of finance revoked because of what they say is a default added incorrectly for an old debt that's been paid over a year ago.

We've tried to talk to to BT via 150 and their advice is to raise a complaint with Experian who will contact BT and try to resolve that way...

We're looking for a faster solution - does anyone know of a phone number that we can call to discuss the (potentially) incorrectly assigned debt and if it doesn't exist - obtain a letter from them stating so?

Thanks for any advice on this one!

If you use the search facility to find similar posts they all require you to contact Experian who then contact BT and it goes from there
