Logging in, Paying bills, Emails.

Go to solution

For the past 6 months: every month BT sends out an email telling me my bill is ready, I click the link provided in the email on my PC and am told my access is denied.

I then try to log in to bt website and I am blocked.  This happens whether VPN is on or off.
Every month I'm forced to create a new username and password to pay my bill.
Yet, I have no problem using phone app and paying.

But I deal with emails on my PC.

Phones are unsafe, liable to getting lost, and being hacked.
Having to switch from PC to fiddly phone and fiddly phone app is fiddly, stupid, inconvenient and a pain in the butt.
If I'm on my PC I should be able to pay my bills on my PC, just like I do with every other Utility and service I use.

I should also be able to log in to the BT website without having to create a new ID/password everytime.
For the amount of money you charge it's the very least we should expect.

And your categories - the selections are very happy clappy aren't they?
'Troubleshooting' doesn't exist?  Why?
I bring up the issues of
Logging in
Paying bills
Emails....but you presume I'm psychic and know where this fits into your category list?
I'll pick something random shall I?

Fed up Dave

This is a BT residential customer to customer forum. Your post does not go to BT. The only BT staff are the forum moderators who do not necessarily read all the posts.

If you are having problems logging into your MyBT in order to view your bills no one on this forum will be able to help you as they do not have access your BT account. You will need to call BT Billing 0330.1234.150 who should be able to help.
