Mobile Data

Recently I was changed from BT to EE Mobile. Not a big data my  usage was increased from 1.5 to 2GB. Although I had never used all the 1.5GB of data I now run out with 2GB. I contacted a Guide who connected me to the next level. Both people could not tell me if I still could log on to other BT access points. Although now EE mobile i was recontracted to BT Broadband I do not understand how my data is now taken . Any clues ?

Re: Mobile Data

I was not sure whether this relates to your BT account. Is your broadband with BT or EE?

Perhaps the guide was talking about the EE public hotspots, but there is no app for those any more.

Re: Mobile Data

Now contracted from BT Mobile to EE Mobile but recontracted to remain with BT Broadband. I presumed I was still able to connect to Public Hotspots and also to sharing other BT users' Broadband when near and given access by owner. Its has been very useful and one of the reasons that makes BT Broadband attractive.

Re: Mobile Data

Yes, you can still access the hotspots but you need to open a browser to log in rather than using the app.

The hotspots now appear as EE rather than BT

Re: Mobile Data

Thank you -That may be the answer. If I use a browser will I be using my Data to connect rather than the direct connection to the hotspot or other hubs ?
