Moving from BT to EE

earlier this year I took out my usual 2 year contract with BT for home phone and broadband.  I received an email regarding getting switched over to EE for broadband and home phone.  Considering I just renewed my contract, where do I stand with this?  Do I have to now make contact again and get switched over?
