Moving to BT Home Essentials

Go to solution

Hello everyone! As of November last year I am in receipt of Universal Credit due to working a part time job (24 hours a week minimum wage) but I have been in my current contract with BT (Fibre 2) for under a year. Would I be able to switch over to the BT Fibre Essentials plan, to reduce my internet bill? Cheers!

If you meet the criteria then you can move to home essential even if mid contract. This may help.

Thank you for pointing out that the switching to the BT Home Essentials can be done mid-contract if the account holder transitioned to receiving a form of state benefits!
