My bt is defaulting to an old inactive account

I have recentlyu joined BT for TV and broadband. However when I am trying to access my account online I cannot see any of my packages or bills as it defaults to an old inactive account and I can switch to the new one. Is any way to change the default or remove the old account. I have already spoken 3 times to agents on the phone that promised to raise to technical team and it will be resolved in 3 days but no success so far. Any recommendation please?

try contacting the billing team who should be able to help   https://www.bt.com/help/contact-bt/account-and-billing/broadband
