New customer question

Hi there. I am wondering if anybody is able to help me. I am a new customer (having BT net and tv put in on Nov 7th). I am currently with Now TV and my bill with them is due on the 3rd Nov. I am wondering if I am changing will I loose the internet from them or do I need to contact BT 🤔 I am kinda confused

Re: New customer question

@BornOfTheGalaxy

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

BT Retail will inform Now TV that they are taking over your service.

Provided you have not called Now TV to cancel your service, then you should not have any break in service.

If you have contacted Now TV, then you are likely to lose service, as the pending cease of your line, will result in a 10 day loss of service because BT will not be able to takeover your working line until the cease has taken place.

Re: New customer question

Hi @BornOfTheGalaxy   Whatever you do, don't contact Now as this will completely confuse the switching process. You should allow the normal billing from Now to go through, and they will refund you the period that you are no longer with them. Your only contact should be BT until the switch is completed.
