Hi, I ordered an upgrade to fibre on 14/09/2022 and was given the date of 10/10/2022 for installation (today). A new Hub and phone arrived last week but I have heard nothing from either Openreach or BT and the Order Tracking give little away as to the status of this order other than Openreach should be here doing something..
Have you tried ringing the FTTP team 0800 587 4787 to find out what is happening?
An upgrade to what type of ‘Fibre’ , upgrading to FTTC from ADSL or from a standalone phone line doesn’t need an installer visit to your home , if it’s an upgrade to Gfast or FTTP does…today ( 10th Oct ) Openreach are on strike so you are unlikely to get anything done today.
They are on strike today, so will not be coming.
🙄 Missed that one, pity this wasn’t mentioned in the Order Tracking. So much for technological progress..😂
