Package arrived early and line already active - how to cancel un-required installation?

My home hub arrived yesterday and this morning I set it up, and it is already active and working, so I'm wondering if I should and how to cancel the installation(Due this friday) because it's not needed at this point. Service is working fine already?

If it can't be cancelled there's no problem, I just thought it would spare them an un-needed visit.

@AntRWells

Welcome to this user forum for BT Retail phone and broadband customers.

If the service is showing as active, then the Openreach appointment is normally automatically cancelled.

The appointment is there just in case activation fails, and a visit is needed.
