Why have "Happy with just broadband?" at the bottom of the offers page when the damn' button doesn't work.
I want a cheap broadband & landline package, with no frills or fripperies.
After 25 years with BT I guess I'll have to look elsewhere.
@Oddbodkin - It's a very strange business model, but unfortunately BT no longer want your business. You are worthless to them and they want you to pay an extortionate rate and stay quiet, or you can leave.
New customers are the way. Get them to sign up for two years on a good deal, keep them happy and they will forget being overcharged after 24 months. If they do complain, let them go.
You only have to check out X for hundreds of dissatisfied customers.
Try phoning up. See what you are offered - no good, hang up and try again. You might get an advisor who is happy to forgo their commission, so sweettalk them.....blowing smoke so to speak. You will waste days of your life, but you may get the outcome you want. Alternatively jump ship, get cashback and take a chance 🤗
