Price jump for Halo 3+

I was on the BT site a couple of days ago and the price upgrade offer from my current package to Halo 3+ was £9.80

It's now £30.80 and the banner promising cheaper prices than new customers has also vanished for that package.

Anyone know if this is a mistake? Was the cheaper price a mistake? 

I was literally about to pull the trigger on this upgrade but not at £30+ more per month.

No it wasn't. BT will make various personalised offers throughout the course of your contract with some being just stupidly expensive but once in a while you get a cheap one.

I had a letter the other day with an offer for Halo 3 upgrade and a day later an email saying they'd made a mistake with the price and the upgrade was actually double that stated in my letter.
