Question on moving from Plusnet to BT full fibre

FTTP now available in my village after many years of slow ADSL. Currently with Plusnet - broadband and line rental - but now looking to move back to BT. Due to complete lack of mobile reception where I live, I need a "landline". I understand BT offer digital voice. Am I correct that in order to proceed with BT I just placed an order, specify I need phone as well as broadband, and they'll do the rest - in terms of preserving my existing phone number/working with Plusnet? (Phone number has been in place for many years - will have been allocated by BT back in the day).

Cheers for any guidance.

Re: Question on moving from Plusnet to BT full fibre

As Plusnet is a BT Group company you shouldn't have a problem. Problems normally arise (if any) from such as VM O2, Sky, Talk Talk etc.

Re: Question on moving from Plusnet to BT full fibre

I have to say my move from Vodafone Broadband to BT FTTP (no phone) went incredibly smoothly.  Shame that BT/EE are not even in the same ballpark for my mobile plan though!

I only learn by making mistakes and owning up to them - boy do I learn a lot!
