My mum has received a letter from BT telling her she needs to pay an outstanding amount. She does not have a BT account nor is going to get one. We actually had a guy come out in a van a month or so ago to ask about putting markings down infront of our driveway to put in a BT landline or something like that. The letter refers to a Business Account. Your mum should call 0800 800 156 to query it.
It would appear to be with regard to a business account. Call the number on the letter 0800 800156
