Renewals - Laugh or Cry?

Go to solution

Offer 1, six months from contract end was a £2pm reduction but with accompanying T&Cs that suggested the price would stay the same anyway.

Offer 2, three months from contract end was a £1pm month reduction.

Offer 3, six weeks from contract end was no reduction.

So having failed to temp me so far, what irresistible offer do they come up with a month before contract end? A £2.60 increase! 😂

Hey @rbz5416,

I can't guarantee that we can help but I'd like to see what we have available to you. Would you mind replying back to my private message? We'll get back to you over the next couple of working days.

Thanks

Re: Renewals - Laugh or Cry?

So, a week on & BT are still playing silly beggars. I did reply to @DanielS same day & heard nothing more, so i take that to mean BT aren't bothered. Kind of ironic when Mr Jansen is busy blaming strike action for loss of customers.

This has forced me to check alternatives & as of today, I can save £7pm by switching, so I will. I fully expect to better that with Black Friday deals yet to surface. So that's me done & my last post for at least 18 months, when those clever folk in marketing will no doubt offer me around £75 cashback to return. 🤔

So long & thanks for all the fish...

Good morning @rbz5416,

I am so sorry that we haven't been able to reply to you personally. Your message didn't drop into our queue where we pick up and reply to all of our private messages. This was a system issue and should not have happened. Again, I really am sorry that this happened. I'll make sure this is picked up today for you.

Thanks
DanielS
