So I'm just out of contract with Vodafone. I'm on Universal Credit so I'm on the Essentials Vodafone package.
As I have no BT landline, although I do appear to have a VOIP number from Vodafone, which I don't use, how do I seamlessly switch from Vodafone to BT?
This is the exact reason I'm leaving Vodafone as nothing over there appears to be easy either. Apparently I need to re-register there for the essentials package but the web-form has been crashing on me for 3 days now so I've had enough and want to switch to the BT Essential Package at £15 a month.
Can someone help me out with that please? I'd appreciate it. I don't want to be run around in circles on the phone for half the day and there's no option to sign up for the BT Home Essentials package, from BT website, if you are a new customer.
Any help, ideas, solutions, thanks in advance.

You need to ring BT as shown.
Once your order is accepted, then BT will contact Vodaphone to say they are taking over the connection.
Yes, it would apply to new and existing customers. Make sure you have your details to hand, as BT has the ability to check them.
