Switching from BT to EE broadband

Go to solution

I have been with BT for many years and I'm currently on the 900Mb/s full fibre package. What are the pros & cons (technical & money) of switching it to EE?

One question in particular is important - will I automatically keep my existing multiple @btinternet.com email accounts?

Thanks.

Why switch to EE at all?  It's not compulsory despite what you may have heard.

If you move to EE you will retain your BT email addresses as has been already confirmed on forum

Re: Switching from BT to EE broadband

One possible reason is cost. The BT website only offered me one deal for a new contract that was basically the same as what I already had. To get any other deals (e.g. at a different speed) I had to transfer to an EE page that helpfully told me I wasn't authorised. I then ended up going in circles.
