I have raised a complaint on BT . COM, lets see if I get a sensible answer.
You're going to complain that all the best deals are for new customers 🤣
Not just deals but actual products 😡
I’m not here to take the mickey, but I’d genuinely like to know how you get on in your negotiations with either BT/EE (when you call, it’s highly probable that whoever you talk to is a call handler flogging packages on behalf of both brands - I’m guessing!)
But as mentioned earlier, don’t get caught up in the whole loyalty net just because you’ve been a customer for decades, that’s utterly irrelevant, you want a service, they’ll hopefully sell you what you want, all at a price.
Don’t forget to ask about your email if you’re absolutely set on keeping that, but be aware, you might have to pay for it depending on how you wish to access it.
EE is part of BT, as is Plus Net. BT is transferring residential customers to EE.
I’m fully aware of that, just as I believe each of the three forums associated with the 3 brands might be moderated by the same team. Just makes one wonder why they just don’t merge all three platforms under one 🤷♂️ But that’s a whole different subject.
My complaint was closed with no explanation, I have re-opened it.
Best of luck! I honestly hope you get the result you want, but don’t hold your breath.
I've just been reading the thread that you created here, over on the EE forum. It's certainly interesting to read the different perspectives on what is/isn't available and how both EE and BT intereact (or don't!) within their systems. Clearly you're not alone with others having a similar issue.
As anybody heard if BT's systems are now capable of moving a customer from BT brodaband to EE's 1.6GBPS product without going down the new customer route?
