Unable to add account to MY BT - email address to verify is incorrect

Firstly, I am completely disappointed that there seems to be no way to contact BT about this issue from their web page

Anyway, I've registered for a MY BT account but, when I try to add my account number, it tries to send a verification email to me but is using some random email address and not mine
m*r*b*i*b*e@yahoo.com

I know the *s are to obfuscate the full email address but I don't even have a Yahoo email account

Can anyone recommend a way forward please?

Welcome to the Community.

I'd like to take a look into your MyBT and find out what's happening for you. We really need to especially if you don't recognise that email address. Reply back to my private message when you get a chance, and we will get back to you within a couple of days.
