Unable to verify ID

I signed up for BT broadband last night but have been unable to verify my ID.  I simply do not receive the verification confirmation email. I did receive the order details and direct debit confirmation, so I am receiving mail.  I had the exact same issue signing up to this community and needed to change the email address to a Gmail account to receive the verification email. 

Please could someone help me verify the email address in MyBT?

I sorted this by creating a new BT ID with my Gmail address and taking over the account.
