Where do I find my contract in My BT

Somewhere there is a link to my contract with BT that sets out all of the detail in multiple pages of small print. I have looked in many places having logged on to my account in My BT but cannot find it and have followed some suggestions on the web, most of them asking me to click on parts of My BT that aren't there. Why this is so hard is beyond me, the cynic in me tells me it is to reduce the number of people who examine the contract in detail for their compensation rights when BT fail to deliver the product you have signed up for. Thanks.

Re: Where do I find my contract in My BT

f you go to your MyBT account and then go to your products

Under each product you have you should see a selection that states something like

Your contract details

See your contract length

If you are out of contract for that product it will display

Your contract period has ended.

Hi @Schomosport

I suspect that if you are really after the detail you will after looking at your agreement(contracts) for each service be refered to the BT Terms and Conditions and BT legal stuff.

Re: Where do I find my contract in My BT

Thanks. "Out of contract". Which just illustrates the shambles across MyBT. 1) We agreed a 2 year contract for Full Fibre 500 3 weeks ago but it isn't yet connected to the junction box becasue of a blockage in the duct and zero communication has been received from BT for when they will sort it out. 2) We are being billed for Full Fibre 500 at a different rate to that we contracted for and are still being billed for the land line service that we discontinued at the contracted switch date of 22nd November.

Thanks, that's the one I was looking for. Why the relevant parts aren't hyperlinked from the 'orders' page is beyond me.

If the full fibre hasn't been installed then of course your contract won't be updated. They can hardly start you on something when it's not installed! FWIW if the order is still open the info about package will be incorrect as you'll still be on the old package. I know the no comms is not the best too but have you tried calling in at all?

Re: Where do I find my contract in My BT

"Of course your contract won't be updated" Yes I understand that but then since the service hasn't been installed they shouldn't be billing me for Full Fibre 500 when we are still on Fibre 1.  They have also confirmed the landline has been stopped and yet it also appears on the bill. The bill dates are post the planned installation date.

I have another thread running on the actual installation - in short phoned them a week after the installation didn't complete and I will be phoning again on Monday.

I have no axe to grind with BT, been a customer for about 40 years and the occasional fault has usually been resolved quickly. However, My BT is a mess of a website, has been for years, often difficult to find what you are loking for and all too easy to navigate away from the account you are signed in to only to find you have to sign in again. The wait on the phone last time I phoned was 14 minutes, last night when I tried it was 20 minutes so I parked it until Monday. In this instance we have a telecommunications company that cannot consistently communicate order status to its customer and it doesn't update the customer on how it is progressing the failed instalation to communication.
