Xbox pass code where to find?

I was given a year Xbox pass had an email advising to go onto account and click add(sign into the Microsoft account etc) however it’s asking me for a product key or gift card code. Does anyone know where I find this?

You should get email with code and then you go to MYBT  manage then content partners. There are numerous posts about this just use search.  You need to use web browser on pc/laptop not mobile

Thanks for replying. I did search however the email I got doesn’t give a code just to go to content partners… accept T’s and C’s and sign in with login details etc. This then asks me for a code…. again no code was sent on email. I  wondered if anyone could shed light on who to contact or if another email is sent hence this post. Thanks anyways
