any compensation for loss of service, if due, is normally credited to your account automatically. as it was not a fault of BT/openreach but due to the severe weather conditions you may need to phone CS 03301234150 to clarify

Re: claiming compensation
Can you clarify as your post makes no sense to me ,
you lost service in December due to a storm, ( not having mobile service is irrelevant with landline compensation ) , if you contacted BT and it was fixed the next working day , how are you due 46 days compensation if it was repaired a day after you reported it ? , if you waited 40+ days to report it , because you thought that was unnecessary as many lines were down and you assumed your line fault would be looked at anyway , then unfortunately you have no ‘proof’ of the length of time the fault existed as you never started the compensation clock ticking by raising a fault report when the fault first appeared in December , when you did it report it , it was repaired very quickly after that , and that was within the repair time allowed so no compensation is due .
If I’ve misunderstood and this isn’t what happened, then what did ? , did you report it in December when the fault first occurred, and then contacted BT again 40+ days later because nothing had happened ? ….to give an opinion, more information is needed from you .
