getting copy of elderly relative's bill

Go to solution

I have a relative who is in his 80s and lives alone. He mentioned that he recently paid his BT bill over the phone using his debit card and that his bill was around £200. This is much higher than it would be usually and he doesn't make many calls. He said he got a few calls from BT over the last couple of weeks but I am concerned that these may have been scam calls and that he has given his debit card details to whoever called him. Is it possible to order a copy of his BT bill on his behalf? He says he hasn't had a BT bill through the post for more than 4 months.

Hi @jmarsden,

Thanks for your concern for your relative.

I think that it would be best if we spoke with you about this. You would need to have the account holders permission for us to talk with you about any of their bills. I'm sending you a private message that you can write back to me on.

Thanks
