"Your BT ID is also the contact email we will use to tell you your bill is ready". But it's not.

My latest bill notification has been emailed to a different btinternet email address than usual. It is going to my "contact" email address and not my "BTID" address.

I have checked my account on line and it states "Your BT ID is also the contact email we will use to tell you your bill is ready." The address next to that is my BTID email address that my bill usually goes to and is the one I still want my bill to go to.

Anyone else noticed this?

How do I ensure that future bills go to my BTID email address?

They always insist I have a different ID than the email I use in my main account.  Fortunately, I can remember this long defunct email address that i have not used in over ten years. I cannot find the old one anywhere on my log-in page or in any page I can reach regarding my account !

No matter how many times I ask them to change it, next time I call they still need the old one!
