switching tv package

hi has anyone had problems switching tv packages i placed an order yesterday sunday 24th for the vip tv package i still cant view the channels 24 hours later this is not the first time this has happened i tried to switch packages a few weeks ago with the same result i phoned bt only to be told the order had'nt went through correctlly and that they would have to cancel it and redo the order and that someone would ring me back to sort this suprise surprise no ring back! i was under the impression that switching packages was straightforward im afraid im not finding it a straightforward experience  i switched from sky to bt because of the option of the tv package switching i wish i had stayed with sky
