ACCESS CONTROL via Smart Hub 2 - now says to access via BT app?

Please can someone tell me how to get to Access Controls on the BT app, now that Smart Hub 2 says:

Access controls are now managed using the app.

I have tried and tried to find this in the app but to no avail.

And come on BT, please update your web pages:

By access control do you mean parental controls?

You should be able to download the MYBT app and after logging in be able to set the access controls

No I don't mean parental controls specifically, I mean the ability to allow or block specific phones, laptops, cameras, etc from accessing the network.

The Smart Hub 2 hub manager used to be able to do this via an option in the Advanced Settings dialogue box named 'Access control'. Now when the Access control box is clicked, the following message is shown:

Access controls are now managed using the app.

When access controls are 'On', Internet traffic will be blocked if you have setup your own schedules.

If you have setup schedules they will be shown below.

This may be what is now named 'Parental Controls', albeit I don't know for sure. Basically, I had access controls set up so that only specified electrical items could connect to my internet, as a security feature. I have a new CCTV which I want to allow to connect to my network, but I have a feeling it is blocked from doing so, so want to see if I can unblock it - but I am not able to find the page that I used to use to do this!

Hi there @casper_d 

Thanks for coming to the community. 

You'll find available access controls in the app, and are now called Wi-Fi controls.

1. From the app, click More then select Your wi-fi network
2. Select Control wi-fi access for your devices to manage your screen time online.

This will show you what can be controlled, if you having any problems accessing these or are not shown the settings you are after, please give us a call and the team will see if there is anything we can help with at our end.
