Apple, Safari and new Norton security

Go to solution

Hello,

We use an Apple Mac and an iPod Pro with BT.  Norton security is not compatible with the Safari operating system .

Please  could anyone advise what we should put in place instead of Norton?

I understand that Apple has it’s own security but do we need anything else please?

Best wishes and thank you

Apple Mac security is as good as it gets, provided you keep your OS up to date. iOS is also very secure. If you feel you must have an AV then the free version of Malwarebytes is as good as any. You just have to run it manually. It's not a bad idea to turn on BT Web Protect via the MYBT page. It should alert you to any dodgy sites you might visit.

Thank you very much,

I will have a look at the links you have provided . I do need to be more familiar with what is out there.
Ignorance is poor excuse on my part.
