BT TV App connection to BT Pro Box

Hi...trying to pair my Samsung s22  to my Pro Box, but message 'can't find it '. Both devices are on the same wifi network . Any advice please..thanks.

What devices are there between your box and phone? Powerline adapters? WiFi repeaters?
First step would be to reboot everything - including the box, phone, router, and anything extending the network.
