Broadband / Digial VoiceOutage Protection

BT's overview of the Motorola FW500 Hybrid phone for Digital Voice states to always keep the FW500 plugged into the green port on your Smart Hub. How is this possible when I've got my cordless phone master station plugged into it? How do I overcome this?

Re: Broadband / Digial VoiceOutage Protection

Phone CS 03301234150 and request a free digital voice adapter which acts like a portable phone socket.. it plugs into electric socket and connects to the hub using DECT and just connect phone to adapter and your phone will work as if connected to hub

Re: Broadband / Digial VoiceOutage Protection

Thanks for a very quick and useful reply. To clarify your solution, I would plug the digital voice adapter into a mains socket, which will then automatically connect to my hub? I have a cordless DECT setup, so I would then plug the master station of my cordless setup into the adapter? If I'm correct, is there any configuration for stage 1?
