MyBT app for iPhone - click to download a bill doesn't download in the usual way

Hello.

I'm using the latest version of the MyBT app on a recent iPhone with the latest version of iOS etc.

FAULT: For the past couple of months (but not before then), clicking to download a bill doesn't result in a download in the usual way. It seems to do nothing - no error, a short wait, but then nothing.

PREVIOUSLY (and what I would like the behaviour to return to): Clicking to download the bill in the MyBT app would give me the usual iPhone "share sheet" with options of where to save it or which app to open it in etc.

WORKAROUND: I have discovered that, once I've clicked the download link in the MyBT app (and nothing seems to have happened), I can find the PDF of the bill if I use the Apple "Files" app - though the PDF is in a strange location, and this is far from intuitive or easy for a "normal" iPhone user.

Under Browse > On My iPhone > My BT there is a list of files with strange names and types (.json, .sqlite, .pen, .crt, .log). The .pdf file(s) in that list are the bill(s) I have clicked to download in the MyBT app.

I can then click on the PDF file (or click the 3 dots menu to "Select" and click on multiple PDF files) to then access the "share sheet" with its icon - and then choose where to copy it or which app to send it to in the usual way.

I do have to remember that this will copy the file(s) so I have to go back in to the "Files" app and delete the PDF(s) from the My BT folder after successfully opening or saving them elsewhere. Otherwise the PDFs will sit taking up storage space on my phone unnecessarily.

QUESTION: what is the best way to get this fault noticed and acted on by the right team within BT?

Thanks.

The problem lies with the Apple app developer, not BT. Complain there.

It works just fine on Android.

Err.. it’s a MyBT app. In which case surely BT are responsible for signing it off and approving its functionality?  Odd that you are asking a BT Customer to complain to the developer. It should be BT complaining to them - in response to customer complaints - for not delivering a quality product.. Did someone mention BT Cloud .. don’t recall us raising issues with the cloud company .. we raised them with BT as I recall.
