Laptop won't connect to BT wifi hostpot after Windows10 updates

Hello,

I am waiting my new BT broadband connection and have been using the BT wifi hotspot in the meantime. Worked fine up until today. My lapotop ran some windows10 updates yesterday and it won't connect to the wifi anymore.

Anyone knows how to fix this please?

Have you tried running the Windows Troubleshooting Wizard

Have you checked to see if it is the laptop that is the problem or if it is the BTWifi Hotspot. Until you have done that you could may be looking in the wrong place for the problem.

Try connecting another wireless device to the BTWifi Hotspot and if it connects you will know it is definitely the laptop and if it won't connect that would tend to point to the BTWifi Hotspot being the problem. 

Alternatively try connecting your laptop to another BTWifi Hotspot or at the least another wireless network before making any changes.
