I'm attempting to do speed test on MyBT.
The app is quite frustrating. I've logged on innumerable times after which it asks me to create a PIN. I do so then enable biometric login.
The next time I try to use the app it makes me login in full again and has forgotten my PIN and disabled biometric login. I repeat the cycle - ad infinitum.
Anyway, after another full login this morning, I started a speed test. It finished and warned me that my speeds were not as expected and offered to try again. I accepted the offer and now the thing never gets beyond 90% at which point it stops. After about 10 minutes it decides it's "Sorry, we were not able to test your speed" and tells me the next steps is to try again in 15 minutes. (It also wants me to check my router is on - which it is since I'm talking to it via the phone that's running the MyBT app!)
Does the MyBT app know that human life is finite and while it's b******g around it's using time I won't get back?
UPDATE:
15 minutes later it has just repeated it's previous behaviour and I'm back at the "wait 15 minutes to try again" nonsense. There are two parties involved in this farce; BT and me. I'm beginning to think one of them is incompetent and I'm pretty sure it's not me.
